Newsletter jam question
.

Has anyone made the raspberry jam from the Farmer's Market Fresh Newsletter email?  I was wondering if this could be poured into jelly jars instead of freezer containers.  I'm not one that knows anything about making jellies and was not sure if there was something that had to be added to the process to jar it.  Thanks in advance for any help offered.

I didn't get the memo but I have been making rasp jam for years now just using fresh picked raspberries and sugar and a bit of lemon  juice. I use the "Ball canning book" for my directions. I have never made a freezer jam or a refrig jam and have never used "boxed fruit pectin"

I just follow the directions in the ball canning book. I hope you get yourself a copy , it's maybe 6 bucks these days.

Worth it's weight in gold.

 Have fun!

Hi :)  Grandma froze everything in a Ball canning jar, noodles, jam, spag sauce, so you can too Smile
