My favorite pie is cherry -- but I'm quite particular about my mom's version.  She takes one can of store-bought cherry pie filling and mixes it with regular unsweetened cherries.  The combination can't be beat!

 I voted for Pecan as being my favorite, but that isn't quite true. It's the closest on the list to my true favorite, which is actually Chess Pie. My Mom used to make the BEST Chess Pie I have ever tasted, the mixture of butter and sugar, along with the flakiest crust you could ever put in your mouth!! (Chess Pie is basically Pecan pie with out the pecans!!)

 My Mom used to make me a Lemon Meringue Pie for my birthday. There was nothing like it on earth. A wonderful memory.
