Help, I am looking for a recipe that has a pretzel crust, jello, cream cheese, strawberries and blueberries. I believe it was called red, white and blue dessert. If you have it could you send it to me, please.

tweetybird1210 I have a recipe for the pretzel crust, jello, etc dessert you are looking for.

2 cups crushed pretzels

3 tablespoons sugar

3/4 cup margarine, melted

2 cups mini. marshmallows

2 1/4 cups boiling water

2 cups powdered sugar

1 (8oz) cream cheese

1 container of Cool Whip

2 (3oz) pkgs. strawberry Jello

2 (10oz) pkgs. of frozen strawberries or 1 pkg of frozen strawberris and 1 pkg of frozen blueberries

Mix pretzels, sugar, and mararine.  Press into 9 x 13 pan sprayed with nonstick spray.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.  Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese.  Add cool whip and marshmallows. Spread over crust and chill.  Mix jello and boiling water.  Add frozen fruit to jello. Pour over cream cheese mixture.  Chill till set.

It sounds like Pretzel salad

Pretzel Salad
 
1st Layer:
2 cups crushed pretzels, not too fine
¾ cups melted butter
2 teaspoons sugar.
Mix together and spread in the bottom of a 9 x 13” pan.  Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely
 
2nd Layer
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1-cup sugar
8 ounce container cool whip
Blend cheese and sugar; fold in cool whip, spread on cooled crust.
 
3rd Layer
2 3-ounce packages strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
10-ounce packages frozen sliced strawberries
Dissolve jello in boiling water and stir in frozen strawberries, when partially set, (does not take long) pour over second layer and refrigerate
